Uno

Tonight was night one of the sleep lady shuffle. A stupid name for a good concept. Basically it is a cry-it-out variation where you sit next to said crying child and reassure them that you are still there and whatnot. I like this version because it doesn't seem as lonely. Anyhow, he nursed, got put down "drowsy but awake" per the SLS advice, fiddled a bit, and cried for about 25-30 minutes once he realized he wasn't going to get bounced to sleep. Oh how I hope this works for us. So far though, so good. (going to go knock on wood...)
