Before and after
From this...
To this...
We are officially in parentville now. Sorry Uncle R, we had to sell it. The 2 doors were killin' us. Don is in mourning. I bought the Matrix all by myself. I am feeling very proud.

so sorry about losing the mini, but i can see how frustrating it could get with the carseat. :(
but i hope you learn to love the matrix. my best friend got one 1-2 years ago, and she loves it. we drove it to pittsburgh back in august, and i liked the space it had.
awww. sorry about the trade. My Uncle's family has a matrix and I am always surprised by how much stuff they can cram in there. The 'trunk' can easily hold a "big boy's bike" - fyi xo
We are looking at a more "family friendly" car in February and it's my car (the beetle) that's got to go :-( I am depressed in advance and have been telling Beth that you have a mini and if you can do it so can we... crapola.
thanks for the commiseration ladies. i am not so sad as Don, but it is one of the last vestiges of pre-kid life that we both really loved. *sigh* The main reason is that we hope to move sometime in the next few months (you know, if we can ever sell this &%$# condo) and now our payments are $200 less a month. big difference when we will be cash strapped. So Cathy, it really wasn't the doors per se, I could have struggled along with that, but the $$$ is a different story.
